These were taken August 22, 2003 shortly after bringing them home from the previous owner's house. He had a full garage full of 650's of various vintages. Though it never really struck me at the time, I'm going to have to go back and talk 650's with that guy, seemed like a good enough fellow. As you can see the red bike is the titled one, and it was in fairly good shape when I got it. I'd expect I could have made it road worthy with little trouble or investment, but I wanted to do the full rebuild so I'd know the bike instead of just own it. There are some very good parts from the blue bike, I'm pretty sure I'll use the sissy bar. I'm sure there'll be enough good parts left over to recoup some expenses via Ebay once I know what's truly surplus.
